30/11: We had some nice results at the Norwegian winner show yesterday, even though the weekend had a rather bad start, as Obelix got kennel-cough and was not able to come to the show!
His brother Ayo, who was hit by a car just 6 months ago, entered the junior class and showed very nicely. He was awarded 2nd prize, the judge said he needs to develop a bit more. We are so pleased with the result of this boy, just to see him running in the ring is good enough:o)
Sister Tequila was awarded 1st prize in junior bitches, but unplaced in the big junior class of 11!
Then it was time for the K-sister, Puma was entered in youngster class and she did great, winning the class with champion quality. Then it was Karma's time to show off and also she did great, winning a big open class with champion quality. Puma was unplaced in best bitch, Karma ended up as 4th best bitch, only beaten by champions:o)
Congratulations to all of you.

9/11: We are very proud to present a new tracking champion, as Shavano's Kind of Pathfinder "Kito" and Kamilla last week tracked their way to the last 1st price and can now be titled as Swedish tracking champion, big congratulations to Kamilla and Kito. We are so proud of you.
Kito's brother Lucas (Shavano's Kind of Magic) entered a show in Tromsø a few weeks ago and ended up as 3rd best male, behind two champions, well done Jannicke and Lucas.
This weekend we had the M-pups dad Quentin (Nord DK Ch Shavano's Boss Quentin) visiting, he was entering the charming class (veteran class;o)) at a show both Saturday and Sunday. And Quentin did great at the age of 10,5 year, he was awarded champion quality and placed 3rd best male both days. On Saturday he also went all the way to BIS 4 veteran in stiff competition, what a boy:o)
N Ch Shavano's I am Atlas son Ayo was entered Saturday and placed nicely 2nd best male, on Sunday Shavano's Look out for Lloyd placed 1st with honours price in junior class. Congratulations to all.

17/10: Obelix did his first obedience trial yesterday, as the youngest dog there he placed 9th of 18 equipages and got the bronze medal, way to go Obelix and John Anders.

3/10: We had a lovely day at the International show at Hamar today. Eline and Lloyd picked up Karma before they came to join us on the way to Hamar. This was L-boys first time out in junior class and what a great start! Obelix placed 1st with champion quality and brother Lloyd came 2nd. Obelix managed to go all the way to best male with CC, only 9 months and 5 days old!
N Ch Shavano's I am Atlas son Ayo was entered in champion class and also he did great today, winning champion class and placing 2nd best male behind his nephew, since Obelix is only 9 months, Ayo also got the CACIB.
We had only Karma entered in the bitches classes, she was awarded 1st and honours prize.
Obelix ended up as BOS, BOB was Swedish Karanga's Dee Sibel Af Lex, congratulations with the Norwegian champion title.

5/9: Obelix ended up as BIS 4 at his last show in puppy class today. He has had a great carrier at the puppy shows, 3 x Best in Show puppy, 3 x BIS 4 puppy and 2 x BIG 1.
In just a few weeks he is 9 months and finally junior, looking forward to show him in official classes:o)
We where not present at the show today, we arrived just before the BIS finals, Obelix was handled by a new handler today and they did great their first time in the ring together.

Marie Therese and Obelix:

Lovely Obelix has no problems being handled by another handler:

Obelix has not yet seen us, but he surely can smell us;o)

30/8: Some very nice results from the weekend, I'll try to remember them all(very tired after a long weekend!)
Shavano's Look out for Obelix BOB - BIG 1 and BIS 4 yesterday and Best in Show puppy at the special today (this was Obelix's 3rd BIS from puppy class).
Shavano's Kind of Poweful "Puma" seems to be stuck in the 2nd place! Puma was 2nd in her class 3 times this weekend, Saturday she ended up as 4th best bitch and Sunday she was unplaced in best bitch class, with champion quality. But we are very pleased with Puma's results anyway, there where big entries in her class everyday and she placed very nicely 2nd of them all:o)
N Ch Shavano's I am Atlas son Ayo won the champion class of 6 males on Sunday and ended up on a nice 3rd best male placement.
Shavano's Kind of Heir "Karma" was only entered on one show on Sunday, but that didn't stop this girl from showing of. Karma placed 1st in youngster class and ended up as 2nd best bitch with her 4rth CC at the RR special. She really seems to live up to her name:o)
We didn't take to many pictures, but of few of them are here:

3/8: On Friday we went to Nesbyen for a show weekend. With us we had Jambo, Obelix and Karma, we met up with Jambo's sister Kela and the Aasebø family. We stayed at a lovely cottage in the mountain and really enjoyed our weekend.
First out of the dogs was Obelix at the puppy show on Friday afternoon. Obelix was once again BOB puppy and ended up as 3rd in the group.
Saturday N Ch Shavano's I am Atlas son Ayo was 4rth best male, Karma was 2nd in junior class with champion quality, her sister Kara was 3rd in junior class, Kela 3rd in open class and Jambo was 2nd in champion class and 4th best bitch. We also had a breeders class on Sunday and got a very good critique and honours price (as we where very early finished, we preferred a long walk in the mountain, than waiting for the finals!)
Sunday Ayo was 2nd in champion class and 3rd best male, Karma 1st in junior class and 2nd best bitch with her 3rd CC and Jambo once again 2nd in champion class with champion quality, but unplaced in best bitch today.
I hope someone will send me pictures from the show, as I simply forgot to bring out the camera at the show:o(
Thank you all for a nice weekend.

26/7: Some very nice results from this weekends shows in Moss. Saturday we had one puppy entered, Shavano's Look out for Lloyd was BOB puppy (4 puppies entered), because of the poring rain, Eline and Lloyd didn't wait for the group. Congratulations.
Shavano's Kind of Heir "Karma" was entered in junior class and placed 1st with honours price. The judge really liked Karma, but as she was "only junior", she didn't want to give her CQ! Karma was the only female with honours price, the others was awarded 2nd price or 1st with no more, so she we where quite happy anyway:o)
Sunday we also had Karma entered in junior class and today the judge was appreciating Karma as the junior she is. She was best bitch with her 2nd CC and BOS.
Then it was time for the puppies, as Obelix entered the ring, the judge stopped and just looked at him for a moment. Wow she said, what a stunner. And Obelix showed his best and ended up as Best in Show puppy. So, we can't say anything else than what a great weekend:o)

1/6: This weekend it was time for the Norwegian special and we where so happy to see so many Shavano's entered to the show. The weekend started very nice in the puppy classes, in 4-6 months males there where 7 entries, Obelix placed 1st, Lloyd 3rd and Leo 4th. In the female 4-6 months there where also 7 entries and our Tequila placed 3rd. Obelix then proceeded on to win BISS puppy, just 5 months old. BOS was Ridgedogs Brilliant Leah Sahrami.
When it comes to the adult, it was quite strange to see the judge only hand out 15 CQ to 120 entries! But anyway we had some nice placements:
In Junior males we had K-brothers Kito and Lucas entered, Kito and family came all the way from Helsingborg and Lucas and Jannicke came all the way from Bodø in North Norway (Lucas had his first time in plain and had no problems with that), it was so nice to see these two lovely boys together again and they had lots of fun together.
Kito got a 2nd price and Lucas placed 3rd with honours price in a junior class of 9.
In champion males we had I-brothers Ayo and Martin entered, none of them being placed in the class of 12. Ayo and Martin also got their rosettes for last years placements on the "Gullhund listen" (top RR of the year), Martin at 3rd and Ayo as 5th place.
Our very best 10 year old Quentin entered in veterans class (as always wagging his tail trough the show:o)) and placed 2nd with honours price.
In the junior females we had K-sisters Kara and Juba entered, they did an almost "copy" of their brothers results from Saturday, Juba got a 2nd price and Kara placed very nicely 2nd best junior with honours! price in a class of 17 junior females.
Kela from I-litter entered the ring for the 2nd time ever and we where very impressed to see this girl place 3rd in a class of 19! open class females. (still no more than 1 CQ, even though the classes where this big!)
Her sister Jambo entered champion class, but was not placed in a big class.
Juba and her "little sister" Ingrid entered the "Barn og hund" competition and won out of 10 kids with their RR's.
At the end of the day, Shavano was best breeder with honours price, competing with Jambo, Ayo, Kela and Kara.
A big thanks to all our "puppy families" for coming, we where so happy to see you all there.
All the results can be seen here.
