Int Nord Ch NV-05-07 BISS RuBISS Shavano's Ghanima Leah, top winning RR 2007

30/12: NordJV-06 Shavano's I am Jambo 2nd best bitch with CC, her brother Ayo 3rd best male at a show today.

17/12: We attended the Nordic Winner show in Stockholm this weekend. Only three dogs form our kennel was entered and we are very pleased with the results. First out was Nord DK Ch Shavano's Boss Quentin entered in veterans class, is was so great to show this happy boy again, Quentin managed to win BOB veteran with champion quality.
We also had two girls in champion class entered, I was very happy to see Lotta (Zaxxon's kennel) and Ninja (S Ch SV Ch Shavano's Changa Ninja) again, Ninja was awarded champion quality, but unplaced in the big champion class of 16 bitches. Int Nord Ch NV-05-07 Shavano's Ghanima Leah placed very nicely best bitch 4 in this big competition. 131 RR's entered, judge: Marija Kavcic. (The pictures from the show are not of good quality)
It was so nice to meet up with lots of "old" friends and thanks to Irene for the company.

26/11: This weekend it was time for the Norwegian Winner show on Hamar, 60+ RR's was entered for the Australian judge Guy Spagnolo, our Leah competed in a big class of 10 champion bitches, as I felt we had all odds against us this day (Leah obviously soon in heat and not interested in anything at all, I didn't feel well all day before the judging and had started thinking about who could show Leah for me!) I was very happy to see Leah showing of nicely in the ring and placing 1st in the champion class. In best bitch we "gave it all" and managed a very nice best bitch win and a new title for Leah, Norwegian Winner 2007. In BOB/BOS competition we competed against Swedens top RR 2007, Djungelkatten's Acuteridged Aramis and Leah ended up as BOS.

As Leah was top winning RR bitch in Norway last year, we had no plans of showing her a lot this year. Leah has only been shown 9 times this year and by this win on Hamar, she ends up as top winning RR in Norway 2007 for the 2nd year running!! We are extremely proud of this lovely girls achievements in the showring.
Our biggest congratulations to I-litters sire N ch Garry's Choise is Simsela Atlas and his owner/handler Gry for top winning RR male 2007, you deserve it Gry;o)

13/8: On saturday, the RR club had a special in Drammen in pouring rain. Shavano's I am Oscar entered his 2nd show. Even this time he won his class, unfortunately Oscar is not at all trained for showing, he would'nt let the judge examine him properly so he could'nt be awarded CK, the judge really wanted to award him CK (which would have resulted in CC, since he was the only one last to compete for this!!)but we need to train more showing first...... I'm sure his owner Inger Lise will train more after this weekends results;o)
Shavano's I am Jambo has really developed nicely lately, this resulted in yet another class win, she ended up as 4th best bitch, behind 3 champions and got the CC. Acèla entered in open class and won the class, but unfortunately no ck! The I-litters mother Leah placed 3rd best bitch and daddy Atlas best male and BOS. 24 RR's entered, judge: Leif Ragnar Hjorth.

On sunday it was time for the international show in Oslo, 36 RR's entered for judge Kent Delaney, USA. Oscar was a bit better to handle today and managed once again to win his class(from the 3 shows he has entered, he has won his class all times, a lovely boy) today with champion quality. His brother Ayo placed 3rd in the class, also he with champion quality. The 3rd brother Martin was today entered in open class, competing with the "adult boys", he placed 4th in a class of 6, no ck for him today.

Shavano's I am Atlas son Ayo was entered in youngster class, he was awarded 1st prize, but later not placed in competition class.
We where very pleased to have our friends from Sweden, Åsa, Bjørn, Terje and Quentin visiting this weekend. 8 years old Nord DK Ch Shavano's Boss Quentin was entered in champion class, unfortunately he had an injurie in one of his toes and was not able to show his movements properly, the judge was very impressed with Quentin's condition and said he would have competed in "the top" if he had'nt been "handicaped", Quentin was awarded champion quality. It was a pleasure to show Quentin again, with his constant wagging tail:o)
Terje(Dumèla Ra Bhaguera) was BOS veteran. Congratulations to Åsa and Terje.
Sunday was time for the bitches, our girl NordJV-06 Shavano's I am Jambo was first out in youngster class with 6 entries, i was very pleased to see her placed as 2nd in the class with champion quality, she is full of "spirit" nowadays and not the easiest one to handle;o)

25/3: Leah placed 3rd best bitch at the international show in Bergen yesterday, Ayo got a first and honours prize, I-litters dad Atlas was BOB, photogallery from our trip to Bergen here.

18/3:Shavano’s Jirani Kango won his 3rd BOB puppy yesterday, congratulations to Britt-Iren and family.

At NDK’s show in Letohallen yesterday, we had two Shavano’s entered, Ayo and Jambo.

Out of 15 entered RR’s, only 3 where awarded 1st prize (except the two champions, who was the only RR’s achieving Champion quality), we must say that we are very pleased that Ayo was one of the three, he placed 1st in junior class with honours prize. Even this time Jambo was limping when she attended the ring, she has not been limping before or after the shows, so I have come to the conclution that either it’s because of the show foot spray on her paws or she just “plays” with me!! I will not spray her paws next time(hopefully there wan’t be slippery floors there!) and see what happens. Judge: Elina Haapaniemi

Today we had only Ayo entered, he once again won junior class, this time with champion quality, in best male class Ayo placed 3rd, after two champions(his father Atlas on 2nd), thus receiving his 3rd CC. Judge: Walter Schiker, 20 RR’s entered.

12/3: Congratulations to Kango and family on yet another BOB puppy win, he also placed BIG 2
6 years old Zinda from C-litter has been exrayed with hips A and elbows 0/0.
Acèla from H-litter had her eyes scanned on friday and we are happy to hear that there was nothing wrong with her eyes.

7/3: Åsa sendt us a picture of Quentin (Nord DK Ch Shavano's Boss Quentin), soon 8 years old:

4/3:  What a nice day for a long trip in the lokal woods with the dogs and the kids.  Our good neighbours came along as well with Marula.  The dogs played, the kids had fun in the snow and we made a nice bonfire.  As we all enjoyed ourselves on this nice winter day, Jambo managed somehow in her normal hurry, to crash into a bush.  We soon discovered that she actually managed to crash into the bush nose first.  She got a cut in her left nostrill, and started to bleed.  It didn't help much that she also started sneezing a lot.  After a while, she seemed to slow down on the bleeding part, and we thought that maybe it didn't hurt as bad anymore.  She started playing with the other dogs again, and things seemed to be quite all right, apart from the odd sneeze, which blew out some more blood.  This too slowed down in intensity, and we were quite sure things would turn out to be OK if we just let her be for a while.

Little did we know.  When we came home, she relaxed in the couch for a while, as she normally does.  We desided to have a closer look at her nose, and tried to see if the cut was bad or if anything was left up there, using a flashlight, but we could not see anything out of the ordinary other than a little blood. But all of a sudden, she started a much more intense and rapid sneeze series than ever before.  After about ten rounds of this, the pictured piece of stick came blowing out of her nose.  No wonder she was in some pain.  We measured it to be 7cm long.  Imagine that up your nose....  Hanne just went to the vet with her now, just to make sure that there isn't anything left up there.  No need to say how sorry we felt for her....Just look at the picture of that stick. Ouch!!!!!

18/2: This weekends show gave us some very nice results, Shavano's I am Atlas son Ayo was first out in junior class, he won his class with champion quality and in best male competition he placed 1st with his 2nd CC. Jambo had streched a muscle and after the 2nd round in the ring, it was obvious that she was in pain and not able to strech out her movements, so she was not placed. She got a very good critique and the judge said he would really like to se her again, when she was not limping.
Shavano's Haijambo Acèla was entred again for the first time in about a half year, she was 1st in youngster class with champion quality and placed nicely 3rd best bitch.
Our boy Ayo ended up as BOB, and in the group finals he managed to bring home a BIG 1 placement, from a group of 5 finalists, not bad from a 13 month old boy:o) We went back to compete in the BIS finals today, but no placement for our young boy there. Big congratulations to owner Gry and Ayo. 13 RR's entered, breed and group judge: Arne Foss.

11/2:Shavano's Jirani Kango entered his first show today, 4 months old he was BOB puppy, he was the only RR puppy but i'm very pleaced to hear his very nice critique from the judge. Congratulations to Aasebø family in Bergen.

4/2: At the double show at Exporama, Hellerud this week-end we had some very nice results.
Saturday: First out was Ayo (Shavano's I am Atlas son Ayo) in junior class, he won his class with champion quality, in best male he placed 3rd and his dad Atlas 2nd best male. Ayo's sister, Jambo also managed to win junior class bitches with champion quality, their mother Leah (Int Nord Ch NV-05 Shavano's Ghanima Leah) was all alone in champion bitches, in best bitch Leah placed 1st and Jambo 4th.
Quentin's daughter, Gyllene Ridgen's Gadiwana-Gadi placed 2nd best bitch with her first CC, big congratulations to owner/breeder, Berit and Lasse.
Leah ended up as BOB at her first show this year.
Sunday: Today both Ayo and Jambo placed 2nd in junior class with honours prize. Leah once again placed best bitch and ended up as BOS today. All in all a very nice week-end.

Jambo in the ring.

21/1: This years first show was held in Sandefjord, we had the three junior siblings from I-litter Ayo, Jambo and Tinka entered.
Ayo was first out, he managed to win the junior class of 3 males with honours prize. Tinka showed her paws in the ring for her very first time, she did quite well, but could'nt stay still long enough for the judge to look at her, i'm very pleased to see that she was very happy and not anxious at all. She got a very nice critique and a 2nd prize. Jambo got a 1st prize and placed 3rd in junior competition class.

Due to personal circumstances, Jackie from J-litter had to find a new home, and thank's to Hanne and Fredrik (Naki's owners) this was easily solved. We wish Hege Grundt and family good luck with their new family memeber.
